Gappogatsujienmado

Gappogatsujienmado is a temple in Osaka that enshrines Enma, the king of the underworld. Visitors can worship Enma, regarded as the guardian deity of the brain, and receive a goshuin. The goshuin is requested verbally after offering incense and candles. Prince Shotoku founded the temple, where he and Mononobe no Moriya discussed Buddhist law, and the grounds are small.
