Kyoto Station Sky Garden is a free observation garden on the roof of the Kyoto Station building, looking down over central Kyoto. From the top of the grand staircase or the escalator beside it, you can see Kyoto Tower, Nishi Honganji, Toji, and Kiyomizu-dera. The roughly 70-meter-high plaza holds lawns, a bamboo garden called Leaf Terrace, benches, and a roof, and it can also be reached from the Mr. Donut side on L2 or from the 11th floor of Isetan. The viewing angle is not wide, the roof space is small, and the wind is strong.
