Shiden Plaza is a small free tram museum inside Umekoji Park in Kyoto. It displays four former Kyoto City trams: two are used as a cafe and a souvenir shop, and the other two as rest areas. Visitors can go inside the cars, and Kyoto City trams ran from June 11, 1912 to September 30, 1978. In summer the interiors are very hot because there is no air conditioning.
