Lawn Field

Lawn Field is a large lawn park within walking distance of Kyoto Station and close to Umekoji Kyoto-nishi Station. Visitors can picnic, read, or play ball games, and the Kyoto Aquarium is nearby to the north. Plum blossoms, cherry blossoms, azaleas, and autumn leaves appear with the seasons, and there is an artificial stream and benches. On weekends and during events, families can crowd the park and make it congested.
