Kyoto Art Gallery

Kyoto Art Gallery in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto exhibits and sells paintings by emerging local artists. You can view the works for free and buy them if you like them. Staff explain how to look at and choose paintings, as well as stories about the artists. During the Gion Matsuri period, the gallery also held a nighttime event called Night Gallery KAG.
