Tendong Mishegi is a Japanese-style tempura rice bowl restaurant in the guldamri alley at Yonsei University's main gate, a 5-7 minute walk from Sinchon Station Exit 1. Its tendon tops rice with fried shrimp, vegetables, and conger eel, served with sauce and furikake. The counter seating makes it easy to eat alone, and rice, sauce, and furikake can be refilled without limit. A wait forms at lunchtime, and the tempura sometimes holds a lot of oil and is less crispy.
