Namyang Kalguksu

Namyang Kalguksu is an old restaurant at the entrance of the Seosomun Apartment alley in Migeun-dong near Seodaemun Station, serving spicy kalguksu and cod soup. It also serves jeyuk bokkeum, nakji bokkeum, and hongeo samhap, and the spicy kalguksu comes with plenty of mushrooms and vegetables in a thick broth and chewy noodles. At lunchtime there is often a line, and dishes arrive several servings at a time to be shared. Staff service is brusque.
