Mr. Seowang Mandu Ewha Womans University

Mr. Seowang Mandu Edae Branch sits between Sinchon Train Station and Edae Station in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul. It is a Chinese dumpling restaurant run by a hwagyo, or ethnic Chinese, proprietor, and its main items are sollongpo, shrimp mandu, and gunmandu. The gunmandu is made by deep-frying whole dumplings, and the steaming and frying take place in an open space where the process is visible. When several kinds of dumplings are ordered together, the gunmandu arrives first, and the sollongpo and shrimp mandu release meat juice from inside.
