Masinneun Noodle Soup

Matinnneun Kalguksu is a noodle shop on Bulgwangcheon-gil in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, serving kalguksu with clams or perilla seeds, patjuk, and mandu. The clam kalguksu comes with plenty of clams in a garlicky broth and thick noodles. Barley rice and yeolmu kimchi arrive first after ordering, and the saeals patjuk thickens as it cools. Around lunchtime the wait can run 15 to 30 minutes.
