Dokkaebi Udon

Dokkaebi Udon is a neighborhood udon shop near Jeungsan Station in Seoul that serves snack-bar and street-stall style udon. Its signature instant udon comes with chewy noodles and fish cake in a cool anchovy broth, made spicy with basic dadegi and a house sauce. It stays open until 3 a.m., and a line forms around midnight, with water and danmuji self-served. There are only about 15 seats and shared tables are the norm, so seats run short at mealtimes and in the evening.
