Darin Kkwabaegi

Dal-in Kkwabaegi is a bakery in Yeongcheon Market at the entrance of Dongnimmun in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, selling kkwabaegi, glutinous rice donuts, and red bean donuts. The kkwabaegi are chewy when freshly made, and the original flavor is chewier still. Lines form before opening, and the shop sometimes closes after lunch when ingredients run out. Once cooled, the pastries turn soggy and hard.
