Chilbaek Sikdang

Chilbaek Sikdang on Tongil-ro in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, is a specialty meat restaurant serving 1++ Hanwoo beef. It grills salchisal and Hanwoo makchang (beef abomasum) over charcoal, then finishes with Hanwoo ramen made with beef, garlic, and Cheongyang gochu. The restaurant brings in only enough meat for the day, and serves doenjang soup, kimchi, and jang sauces as side dishes. Wine corkage is free, and the cost of the meat makes it a place for special occasions.
