Subaru is a restaurant near the cafe street in Bangbae-dong, Seoul, serving Japanese soba and udon. It offers zaru soba made from a blend of 80 percent buckwheat and 20 percent wheat, and the remaining tsuyu is drunk with soba-yu added. The restaurant makes only a set amount of noodles each day in its own milling and noodle-making rooms, and stops taking buckwheat soba orders once the prepared amount runs out. Even when ordering a large portion, the amount of soba is small.
