The Hokkaido Museum is a history museum in Sapporo's Nopporo Forest Park that covers Hokkaido's nature and history. Its exhibits range from 1.2 million years of natural history to Ainu culture and the lives of settlers, and include interactive displays. From the Shin-Sapporo Bus Terminal, take bus 22 from platform 10, and an app provides an audio guide and exhibit explanations. The grounds are large, so the walk to the entrance takes about 20 minutes, and walking on snowy winter paths is dangerous.
