Odori Park

Odori Park is a wide park running through central Sapporo, close to the downtown area and used for walks in the city center. The Sapporo TV Tower is visible from the park, and lilacs and other flowers bloom there as the seasonal scenery changes. During the Snow Festival, large snow sculptures and performances are set up, and smaller events are held at other times as well. During the winter festival period, the ground is very slippery and crampons are needed.
