Okurayama Viewing Point sits at the top of a ski jump reached by shuttle bus from Maruyama Koen Station in Sapporo. From the jump used at the 1972 Sapporo Winter Olympics, the view takes in central Sapporo, Ishikari Bay and Yubaridake. At the 307 m point, visitors look down the jump from the starting position of a ski jumper, and the Winter Olympic Museum next door can be visited as well. Only a lift runs to the top, and it sways, so those with a fear of heights should take care.
