The Hokkaido University Museum

The Hokkaido University Museum sits on the Sapporo campus of Hokkaido University and covers natural history, geology, and fossils. Exhibits on biology, science, and space, along with materials from the university's undergraduate activities, are displayed by floor, and an ice cream and souvenir shop is on the first floor. Admission is free and the museum is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a slow visit taking about an hour. Exhibit descriptions are written only in Japanese.
