The Pungnyeon

Deo Pungnyeon is a retro-style bar in Yeongcheon Market in Seodaemun, Seoul, serving seafood anju with drinks. Haemul mojum is its signature dish, and the space plays 1970s and 1980s music with old-fashioned interiors. A line forms before its 5 PM opening, and shortly after 5 PM the main hall fills and guests are seated at the annex bar. Seating is limited, so walk-ins without a reservation wait.
