Nakaji is a 13-seat omakase sushi counter tucked between Canal Street and Bowery in New York's Chinatown. Chef Nakajima serves Edomae-style sushi using seasonal fish and aged or cured ingredients, with an optional sea urchin tasting. The meal takes about two hours and thirty minutes and requires a reservation, and a waiting bar inside the entrance offers Japanese whisky and cocktails. The eel dish leaves many small bones.
