Shijō Bridge

Shijo Ohashi is a bridge over the Kamo River that connects Kawaramachi and Gionmachi, a short walk from Kawaramachi Station. During the day people walk while looking at the river, and at night they view the city lights from the bridge. Down below the bridge, you can sit by the riverbank in the wind, and in the evening people gather to drink beer with busking music. It is a photo spot that captures the Kamo River together with Japanese-style buildings.
