Kimono Tea Ceremony MAIKOYA Nishiki

Kimono Tea Ceremony MAIKOYA Nishiki is a traditional experience space in Nishiki, Kyoto, where visitors wear kimono and learn Japanese tea ceremony. After choosing an outfit and having their hair styled, participants hear about the history and rules of tea ceremony and make and drink matcha themselves. Reservations are required in advance, and after selecting an outfit there is separate time for taking photos in a large garden. Only one cup of matcha is served.
