Zojakaya

Jokjagaya is a Thai restaurant in Mokpo that serves dishes built around jokbal, including jokbal deopbap and khao khamu. The jokbal is tender and free of gaminess, served with rice, a sauce that cuts the richness, and gatkimchi, adding a Korean note to the Thai flavors. The jokbal comes in large pieces and the portion of rice is well matched, and cilantro can be added or left out to taste. Instead of the baekban jeongsik or nakji commonly eaten in Mokpo, this is a place to have a jokbal dish.
