Yeonghae Bokjip

Yeonghae Bokjip is a pufferfish restaurant in Manho-dong, Mokpo. It serves cham bok clear soup and bok jiri, along with bok jjim, bok twigim, and bok hoe, and the pufferfish skin side dish comes with a separate bowl of vinegar water. The restaurant has continued pufferfish cooking for three generations, and an order of clear soup for three people arrived in a large pot about ten minutes after ordering. The seasoned pufferfish skin was roughly prepared and felt gritty.
