Muan Meokgeori

Muan Meogeori is an octopus restaurant inside Hanil Market in Yongdang-dong, Mokpo. Its main dish is nakji chomuchim, raw octopus tossed in makgeolli vinegar and served with large octopus, cabbage, minari and noodles. Diners mix the chomuchim with rice in a bowl with gimgaru and sesame oil, alongside a bowl of honghap-tang. It opens at 11:30 a.m., and the lunch hour draws a crowd.
