Jindo Sikdang is a traditional restaurant in Mokpo. It serves seasonal samchi hoe, rockfish (ureok) and eel gan-guk, and hongeo-ae-tang, and uses domestic ingredients including hongeo. Food ordered underground can be eaten there or carried up to the seating on the first and second floors, which have views, and the dishes must be returned to the basement after the meal. The hongeo smell is strong enough that some customers leave their seats.
