Old Mokpo Japanese Consulate

The Old Mokpo Japanese Consulate is a history museum in Yudal-dong, Mokpo. The building served as a consulate until 1907 and displays Mokpo's history from the port-opening period. A girl statue stands in the front yard, and an air-raid shelter cave remains behind the building. The exhibits appear insincere and the building's restoration is lacking.
