Mokpojin

Mokpojin is an old defensive site and hilltop park on Mokpo Modern History Street, overlooking downtown Mokpo. Climbing the old stairs brings Mokpo's sea and harbor, the Yudalsan pavilion and cable car into view, continuing into the night scene at sunset. A small parking lot is nearby, with the Boy Kim Dae-jung Study Room close by and the Kim Dae-jung Nobel Peace Prize Memorial visible in the distance. The uphill road is steep with curves, so novice drivers are better off leaving the car below.
