炉端 紅焔（ROBATA COEN）

Robata Coen is a robata izakaya on the third floor of Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, directly in front of the Yaesu exit of Tokyo Station. The menu centers on charcoal- and firewood-grilled dishes that draw out the aroma of the ingredients, such as thick Sendai-style beef tongue and grilled bamboo shoots. Counter seats at the open kitchen look onto the grilling, and a large window shows the Tokyo Station area on the Yaesu side. The balance between portion size and price is a weak point.
