Gungjung Haemultang Ssi Jip

Gungjunghaemultang Jossijip is a seafood restaurant in Daeyeon-dong Motgol Market in Busan that serves haemultang alongside hoe and grilled fish. The broth, made with octopus, abalone and blue crab, deepens in seafood aroma and flavour the longer it boils, and san-nakji and assorted hoe are also served. On weekend lunchtimes the wait can run about 30 minutes, so reservations are needed and ingredients can run out. After the meal, bokkeum-bap is fried in the remaining broth.
