Maehwa Banjeom Main Branch

Maehwa Banjeom Main Branch is an old restaurant on the lamb skewer street near Konkuk University Station, serving Chinese dishes such as lamb skewers, fried eggplant, and mapo tofu. The lamb skewers are grilled over charcoal, staff refill the charcoal when it weakens, and dishes like eohyang gaji and fried noodles can be ordered as well. On an early Saturday evening, entry was possible without waiting, but the seats filled up quickly as time passed. On weekday evenings the first floor fills first and then the second floor, so arriving early in the evening is necessary.
