Mamemasa - Kinkaku-ji Temple

Mamemasa Kinkakuji Keinai Baiten is a shop inside the Kinkakuji grounds that sells matcha ice cream and simple drinks. You can choose a soft serve that is half matcha and half vanilla, or a premium matcha soft serve topped with gold flakes. The shop is a direct stop after visiting Kinkakuji, and there is seating nearby for a short rest. The green tea ice cream is priced on the higher side, and the premium product costs more.
