Engakuji is a Japanese temple near Kita-Kamakura Station, set among trees. Its main hall holds a Kannon statue, and on clear days there is a spot where Mount Fuji is visible. Mugaku Soken founded the temple in 1282, and its shariden and bell are registered as National Treasures. Because it sits on a mountain, there are many insects, so bring mosquito repellent.
