Myeongseong Hojip is a seafood restaurant on the right-hand road at Ilgwang Beach where diners eat eel and hoe while looking at the sea. It grills semi-dried eel over charcoal, seasons it, and serves it on a hot plate, along with abalone porridge and malmijal-tang. Regulars have passed down from mother to daughter across generations. The fish served as hoe are caught directly from a boat.
