Suwa Shrine

Suwa Jinja is a small shrine in central Sapporo. The hand-washing area is decorated with seasonal flowers, umbrellas, and pinwheels. It is a 10-minute walk from Hokkaido University, and you can buy Sanrio talismans, Shimaenaga omamori, and seasonal omikuji. The shrine has a small site, so it feels compact if you expect extensive grounds.
