Hokkaido Jingu

Hokkaido Jingu is a Shinto shrine in the Maruyama Park area of Sapporo, three subway stops from Odori Park. During cherry blossom season, many flowers bloom in one place, and visitors often continue on a walk through Maruyama Park. On holidays, the shrine draws people who come to see the cherry blossoms and locals out for a picnic, and it is also crowded during New Year. The grounds are not large.
