Nijo Market is a small seafood market in central Sapporo that sells seafood, dried fish, and Hokkaido specialties such as corn and melons. Visitors eat kaisendon and sushi, and buy uni and crab to take away. Lines form at restaurants from 7:30 or 8 in the morning, but the whole market can be seen in 10 minutes. The market is small and the shops inside are cramped.
