The Hokkaido Government Office in Sapporo is a sightseeing spot where visitors can see Hokkaido's red brick main building and gardens in the city center. Built in 1888, its exterior uses 2.5 million bricks, and the pond and gardens are the main attractions. After reopening on July 25, 2025, the interior requires paid admission and includes Japanese historical materials, a souvenir shop, and a Shiroi Koibito store. The exhibits focus on materials from around the Meiji Restoration and on Japanese domestic visitors.
