Yonggol Persimmon Tree House

Yonggol Gamnamujip is a meat restaurant on an inner country road in Gangneung, where black pork samgyeopsal is grilled over a wood fire in a yellow-earth hearth and on a stone slab. Kimchi is grilled on the griddle, and the meal is finished with fried rice or plain rice. A phone reservation is required on the day of the visit, and advance bookings are not accepted. Because it sits on an inner country road, it is hard to reach without a car.
