Sinjjam

Sinjjam is a Chinese restaurant in Okcheon-dong, Gangneung, a five-to-ten-minute walk from Gangneung Station. It serves jjamppong, sundubu jjamppongbap, jjajangmyeon, and tangsuyuk, and rice can be refilled from a rice cooker. On weekdays just after 11 a.m. or at 11:30 a.m., the restaurant fills with customers and a wait forms. The tangsuyuk comes with the sauce already poured on, so anyone who wants it on the side must say so in advance.
