Naun Kalguksu

Naun Kalguksu is a restaurant near the futsal court in Gyodong Taekji, Gangneung, serving hwangtae-based jang kalguksu and clear kalguksu. The jang kalguksu comes with potato and zucchini, and wide, chewy noodles are served in a spicy, thick broth. Payment is made in advance at a kiosk, where kimchi and water are provided, and a large memiljeon arrives first after ordering. The jang kalguksu is on the spicy side, so it can be overwhelming for those who cannot handle heat.
