Namhangjin Eochon Restaurant

Namhangjin Eochon Sikdang is a restaurant next to the pine-wind bridge at Namhangjin Beach in Gangneung. Its signature dishes are mangchi maeuntang and hoe muchim made with thinly sliced flatfish that has been flash-frozen. The hoe muchim can be ordered already mixed from the start, and water is taken self-service from a refrigerator. The mangchi maeuntang has many bones, which makes it troublesome to eat.
