Hwanggeum Ojingeo Sundae

Hwanggeum Ojingeo Sundae is a squid sundae shop at the entrance to the second public parking lot on the way into Gangneung Jungang Market. Its signature dish is nurungji ojingeo sundae, fried to order with crisp scorched rice attached. Each order is fried after it is placed, and choosing squid and nurungji together takes longer than ordering squid alone. The nurungji hardens once it cools, so it is eaten while warm.
