Hongjilmok Sikdang

Hongjilmok Sikdang is a chueotang restaurant in Yeongjin, Gangneung. It serves doenjang-based chueotang boiled with house-made jang, along with gamja sotbap, and makes wang gamja jeon and fried loach to order. The chueotang is boiled in a large pot and ladled out, while the potato rice is cooked in a pressure cooker as soon as it is ordered, so calling ahead 30 minutes with the number of people is advisable. The location is remote and difficult to reach without a car.
