Gangneung Gil Gamja is a snack shop next to a park behind Homeplus in Gangneung, selling gil gamja made from fried potato ongsimi dough. The chewy fried potatoes come with buldak sauce or garlic soy sauce. Orders placed at the kiosk come out quickly, but Saturday waits run 40 to 50 minutes. The food is oily and rich, so it becomes cloying fast.
