Gangneung Gamja Ongsimi

Gangneung Gamja Ongsim Gangneung Bonjeom is a restaurant at the entrance of Gangneung Jungang Market that has served gamja ongsimi and ongsimi kalguksu for about 40 years. The ongsimi is chewy and served in anchovy broth, with baechu kimchi and kkakdugi on the side. A cultural parking lot across from the community center is available, and the restaurant gives a parking ticket for parties of two or more. The space is small, so lines are long and waits are long at lunch and on weekends.
