Domyeonggol Cheonggukjang

Domyeonggol Cheonggukjang is a cheonggukjang rice restaurant at the end of Samseong-dong, in an alley behind Seoul Medical Center. It serves plain cheonggukjang and versions with oyster, whelk, or perilla seed and dried radish greens, and also sells tteokbokki. Ordering a main dish lets you add one of mackerel, jeyuk, or bossam, and side dishes are self-refilled. The perilla seed and dried radish greens cheonggukjang has a strong perilla aroma that mutes the cheonggukjang flavor.
