Jogboae

Jokboae is a restaurant in Seoul that serves jokbal and bossam. The jokbal is cooked over direct heat for a smoky flavor and comes with bean sprout stir-fry and a mustard and garlic sauce. Ordering half-and-half jokbal includes kimchi jeon as a basic side dish, and jokbal bokkeumbap is also on the menu. The owner runs the place alone, so food takes a while to arrive, and the small space can feel uncomfortable when a table gets loud.
