Shintencho shopping district

Shintencho Shopping Arcade is an arcade-style shopping street behind Tenjin Parco in Fukuoka, with restaurants, cafes, bookstores, drugstores and clothing shops. It has standing sushi bars, rice pot restaurants and Doutor Coffee, and also sells fruit and vegetables. A bell rings several times a day at the central clock tower, and figures move to music on the hour. The arcade is small and restaurant prices are high.
