Tenjin Chikagai is an underground shopping mall in Tenjin, Fukuoka, connected to major department stores. It holds many stores, so shopping and food can be done in one visit, and the air conditioning runs in summer. The mall closes at 8 p.m., so visits need to start earlier in the day. The distance from one end to the other is long, and walking the full length makes legs sore.
