Iwata-ya Honten is a department store in Tenjin, Fukuoka, selling luxury and high-end fashion brands along with accessories and food. Its B2 sweets shops and 7th-floor event space offer items such as cheesecake, chocolate, donuts, and scones alongside periodic events. Store guides are also shown in foreign languages, but the sofas in the women's wear section are for trying on clothes only and cannot be used as general rest areas. Because it focuses on high-end brands, shopping there tends to be expensive.
